Oskar’s Way is made out of many arrows and dots pointing at random directions, contained within a flame- representing the many lives saved by Oskar Schindler and his actions.
This artwork honours Oskar Schindler, a member of the Nazi party who saved 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust, by employing them in his factories.
Daniel Wechsler is a visual artist & audio engineer.
Focusing on the creation of new video techniques, he uses computer errors and malfunctions to create visual ’bugs’-
These faults and errors are then assembled to become new methods enabling us to reflect on our own faults.
His work deals with personal and collective trauma.
